Kittatinny Regional High School Senior Elizabeth Shaffer recently signed an agreement with St. Andrews University in North Carolina to play softball and ride on their equestrian team.

St. Andrews is an NAIA university where Shaffer plans to major in Equine Business.

Shaffer is the daughter of Peter and Allison Shaffer, of Sandyston Township. She is a four-year varsity letter winner and a four-year varsity starter for the Kittatinny Cougars.

This year she was voted team captain by the players in the program.
