— Cub Scout Pack 184 from Green Township enjoyed an exciting and educational weekend April 25 to 27 at the Fairview Lake YMCA in Stillwater.

The scouts enjoyed two days of hiking, swamp and stream ecology education and discovery, survival instruction, archery, BB gun and rifle range instruction, rock climbing, geo-caching and a night hike.

Electronic play was not missed at all as the boys splashed through streams, built survival shelters, learned about the plant and animal life in our area and dined together. They sang around the campfire and then the exhausted scouts happily trooped off to their cabins each night eager to begin again the next day. Scouts and leaders took turns on the camp's giant swing for a fun and fitting end to the weekend.
