The high energy, full-scale holiday rock orchestra Twelve Twenty Four will be in concert at the Newton Theatre on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m.

Twelve Twenty Four’s performances are inspired by and feature the music of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, as well as their own holiday creations. With a total of 17 performers — a six-piece rock band, four-piece string section, six lead vocalists, and an Angel storyteller — Twelve Twenty-Four brings Christmas to life at each show.

The show will feature songs from their newest release "Light in the Dark," their 2010 debut CD "Miracle on Rock Street" and all the favorite Trans-Siberian Orchestra songs.

Twelve Twenty Four was co-founded by Richie “Rockstreet” Kossuth (drums), Jason “JBird” Santos (keyboard, vocals) and Lenny Kucinski (guitar) in 2002. They perform their Christmas music with a theatrical, rock edge, combining it with a narrated storyline to create a family friendly holiday show suitable for all ages.

Tickets for Twelve Twenty Four are $34 for premium seating, $29 for orchestra and $24 for balcony. Purchase tickets by visiting www.thenewtontheatre.com or contact the box office at 973-383-3700.
