— New Jersey PBA #105 generously donated $500 to members of Byram Girl Scout Troop #326 to be used towards earning their Girl Scout Silver Award.

Michelle, Carley and McKenzie chose to help U.S. soldiers as their project for their Silver Awards.

The Silver Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn at the Cadette Level.

The girls spent several months collecting and sorting through thousands of paperback books to send to soldiers and their families here in New Jersey and worldwide as part of "Operation Paperback."

The donation will be used toward the cost of mailing the books and the girls are thankful and thrilled to receive the help.

PBA #105 is the NJ State Corrections Officers Union representing 6,000 state corrections, juvenile corrections and parole officers around the state.

PBA #105 President Lance Lopez said, "PBA Local #105 is part of your communities. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to help out the community and our military men and women at the same time."
