— The Jefferson Falcons defeated the Lenape Valley Patriots in sixth grade girls basketball on Saturday, March 11. The final score was 34-29. The Skylands Girls Basketball League championship game took place at High Point Regional High School in Wantage.

The two travel teams were among several squads from Northwest, New Jersey to participate.

Amanda Ngwankwo scored a game-high 17 points for Jefferson.

Shawna O'Brien scored a team-high 12 points for Lenape Valley.
