What is bruxism?
Bruxism is another word for teeth grinding. This action most commonly occurs when you sleep. It can be caused by stress, as well as sleep disorders and an abnormal bite or teeth that are missing or out of alignment. Some symptoms of bruxism include dull headaches, fractured teeth, loose or painful teeth, jaw soreness and more. Mouth guards are often used to protect your teeth from bruxism.
