Lenape Valley Regional High School Senior Sean Kumar was awarded 3rd place for Latin Beginner for his recitation of the poem "Catullus II" at the 34th annual Orlando Saa Foreign Language Poetry Recitation Contest held at William Paterson University on May 18, 2017. Also participating in the contest from Lenape Valley: Freshman Maddi Roth, Intermediate Spanish; Junior Dayton Pangborn, Advanced Spanish; Senior Franklin Romero, Native Spanish; Senior Isabella Freeman, Beginner French; Sophomore Molly Clawson, Intermediate French; Senior Sydney Wise, Advanced French; Sophomore Kemy Zephyr, Beginner German; Junior Will Bias, Advanced German. LVRHS offers 4 world languages: Chinese, French, German, and Spanish.
