TEANECK - On Saturday, March 16, 2019, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited the Dar-ul-Islah Mosque in Teaneck in solidarity with the Muslim community and made the following statement:
“Today, in Teaneck with the Dar-ul-Islah Muslim community, we prayed for an end to hatred and violence at home and abroad. I spoke to young people about how we must stand together against hate and intolerance, wherever it rears its ugly head, and remember that our differences are our greatest strength. When we do that, we create strong, inclusive communities, and live up to our Jersey Values. Our Muslim brothers and sisters are integral members of our vibrant North Jersey community, and we pray with them for those who lost their lives, and the injured, in New Zealand.”
