Newton Day 2019

    Caroline Fox, 17, Angelico Villaruz, 17 and Lanie Scuralli, 17, friends of the departed Lexi Faye, are responsible for starting the sale of the shirts to add to the scholarship fund, as "just another way to see that Lexi is never forgotten."  Noting that the support has been unprecedented, Scuralli added, "We think about her every single day.  At school, they put a fresh white rose on her desk, every day. Nobody else sits at her desk, in any of her classes."

The Newton Day Festival was held on Saturday, June 8, 2019. It's a joint project of the Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Newton.
This year had even more events than previous years. Spring Street was filled with vendors and attendees. That evening in Memory Park there were activities and entertainment that included Rizzo’s Reptiles, Mad Science, DJ’s, fireworks, free games and attractions for the kids, live music, food, shopping and more.
