— Kittatinny Regional High School defeated Sparta High School in varsity field hockey on Saturday September 22, 2018. The final score was 1-0. The game took place at Kittatinny Regional High School in Hampton Township, New Jersey.

Kittatinny's Nellie Choma scored the one goal with an assist by Jessica VanGlahn. Goalkeeper Tara Douglas had 12 saves.

Sparta goalkeeper Emma Cerra had 1 save.

Team records: Kittatinny Cougars 2-5. Sparta Spartans 3-4.
