Byram Township seeks laborer for DPW

Byram - The Township is seeking a full-time laborer for the Department of Public Works.

Duties include, but are not limited to; maintenance, grass cutting, storm basin maintenance, road repair, snow removal. Applicant should be able to perform manual labor under all weather conditions and be able to understand oral and written instruction. Some mandatory overtime will be required.

CDL class B with air brake endorsement preferred or ability to obtain within a year. Preference will be given to Township residents, previous municipal experience and/or landscaping experience.

The position is a non-competitive civil service position with a starting salary of $17.32 per hour and health benefits: Applications are available at www.byramtwp.org or in person between the hours of 9am-4pm at 10 Mansfield Dr, Stanhope NJ 07874.
