NEWTON - There will be a Spring Dinner Party Fundraiser held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, hosted by the church youth mission team. The evening includes a four-course home-cooked dinner, music and free in-house child care for children who are age 11 or under. The menu for the evening features spring pea soup with mint, spring salad, choice of garlic-baked pork tenderloin, crunchy mustard-glazed chicken or stuffed portobello mushrooms, all served with roasted baby potatoes, green beans & carrots and assorted desserts. Tickets are $25 per person and must be purchased in advance. Call the church office at 973-383-4420 for additional information or to purchase tickets, or visit the website at www.fpcnewtonnj.org. Proceeds from the dinner will support the youth mission team's summer trip to Frederick, Maryland to make home repairs for seniors and families in need in the community. The church is located at 54 High St. in Newton.
