Kittatinny Robotics Team

Newton – Kittatinney Region High School (KRHS) offers congratulations to the KRHS Robotics team for creating a hydrogen fuel cell car that raced into second place. This year 110 students from eleven different schools took part in the 12th annual event. Thirty-eight cars lined up at the starting line to participate in various heats. The track was 33 feet in length.
The event is sponsored by TransOptions to promote STEM projects. There are various categories in the competition: speed, craftsmanship, engineering, and project journals. In the end, the Kittatinny students were victorious taking home plaques for second place in speed.
