Glorious sunset at Sussex County Sunflower Maze

Within a span of four minutes the sky changed from bright, to colorful, to pink at the Sussex County Sunflower Maze, enabling local photographers to get fantastic shots. (

Longtime photographer Virginia Kolstad, of Sparta, visited the Sussex County Sunflower Maze on a "gorgeous" day this past weekend and ended up encouraging colleagues of the Sparta Camera Club to visit the Sussex Sunflower Maze in Sandyston too.
"Ended up with so many great pictures," she stated. "I am sharing a few to encourage those of you who haven't gone up there yet to try it....The Sunflowers are in full bloom."
Two of Kolstad's photographs show "the dramatic change in color that occurred shortly after sunset and only lasted for four minutes."
The Sunflower Maze is located at Liberty Farm, 1010 Route 645 in Sandyston. The maze is open daily at 9 a.m. to 6 p.m..For more information visit http://www.sussexcountysunflowermaze.com/.
