Jefferson Museum to hold Open House on Sunday, Nov. 3

    The Jefferson Township Museum, also known as the George Chamberlain House, will have an Open House at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019. Admission is free. The award-winning costumed docents are available to help with the tour. The featured exhibit, “Preparing for Winter," is a presentation of how the Chamberlain family would get the household ready for the coming cold weather, from canning to long johns to items to keep the boys entertained and occupied.

    Attendees can visit newly dedicated arbor in the gardens and visit Miss Elizabeth’s Shoppe located in the original kitchen of the Museum, which has been restocked with unique gifts and offers free gift wrapping.
