Pizza, Medicare, and ClearCaptions
A&E. Local senior citizens can grab some pizza and a salad while hearing about Medicare, and captioning for the telephone at the next Stanhope Borough Senior Citizens meeting on Oct. 24.
Are you age 55 or over living in Stanhope or a surrounding community? Whether you're newly retired or just want to meet your neighbors, come join the Stanhope Borough Senior Citizens Club.
The next meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019 at the American Legion Post #278, 119 Route 183/206N, Stanhope.
There will be salad and Sal's pizza at no cost during social hour from 11 a.m. to noon. The business meeting begins at noon with guest speaker Lauren Del Vecchio, Specialist from ClearCaptions, a federally funded telephone service. Also, Terri Seibert from Sussex County Senior Services will explain Medicare updates. Stay after the meeting to play Bingo. Annual membership dues are $15.
