The Junior Woman's Club of Sparta (JWCS) will be awarding 3 scholarships, each in the amount of $1,000, to local area female graduating high school seniors. The winners will be decided primarily based on their service to community and to school, which reflects the mission of The Junior Woman's Club of Sparta.

Applications with complete instructions will be available online at www.jwcsparta.org. The deadline for submitting the application is Friday, May 1, 2020. A formal presentation to the winners will take place on Sparta Day, Saturday, May 30, 2020.The Junior Woman's Club is honored to be able to award scholarships each year to 3 deserving young ladies. The JWCS is passionate about volunteerism and hopes these young ladies will continue to share their time and make a difference in our community.

Scholarship availability is for graduating female seniors who reside in Sparta or attend one of the following high schools:

Hopatcong High School
Kittatinny Regional High School
Lenape Valley Regional High School
Newton High School
Pope John XXIII Regional High School
Sparta High School
Sussex County Technical School
Wallkill Valley Regional High School
Veritas Christian Academy
Vernon Township High School
