KRHS students attend NJ Gov's vaping press conference

Youth. KRHS students attended Phil Murphy's press conference calling for a ban on flavored e-cigarettes, and they encourage peers to be proactive, rather than become victim to addiction.

Five Kittatinny Regional High School (KRHS) students were among just 28 students invited to New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s press conference about the vaping epidemic. The KRHS students represented the Sussex County Youth Tobacco Action Group in support of the Governor’s proposed legislation to ban flavored e-cigarettes, including menthol, in New Jersey.

Their T-shirts depicted the web address for https://incorruptible.us/ which has a lot of information on health issues links to news stories about vaping. The students encourage peers to be proactive and to not become victim to addiction.

After the press conference, Murphy asked gathered guests for their input on the topic as well.
