In the afternoon hours of Tuesday, March 16, 2021, on a hillside in Fredon, N.J., fittingly above a valley of farms and ponds, filled with herds of horses and flocks of geese, Andrew James (Drew) Crisman passed from this life on his final journey. As he passed, Drew was surrounded by his wife, Laura, and family.

Drew leaves behind his sons, Andrew (fiancee Shannon), Sean, and Patrick. Drew will be deeply missed by his siblings, H. Bruce (Cris) Crisman, Kim Caufield Auch, Kerry Caufield McLaughlin, Kara Caufield, James Caufield, Kelly Caufield, Hugh Caufield, Patrick Caufield, Peter Caufield, Kyle Caufield, and Kamille Caufield Berrios, and his brothers-in-law, John Wesh and Christopher Wesh, and their families. Drew’s passing will also be deeply felt by his siblings’ spouses, significant-others, 22 nieces and nephews, as well as many Corcoran and Finnegan cousins.

Drew is predeceased by his parents, Harry Bruce Crisman and Margaret (Pegge) Corcoran Caufield; and his stepfather, James (Jimmy) Caufield; as well as brothers-in-law John McLaughlin and Francis (Fran) Auch.

Drew attended Pope John XXIII High School (‘68), St. Thomas More Prep, and Hudson Valley Community College, Troy, N.Y.

For many years, Drew resided with his family at their beloved Chukker Valley Farm in Gilbertsville, Pa., where he was founder of the Crisman Hardwood Flooring Company.

Quick to make friends wherever he went, Drew’s charm, wit, and sense of humor will be missed by his legions of friends, especially his current crew at Sparta Lake. He was a gifted woodworker who loved horses, New Jersey lakes, family gatherings, and Thanksgiving hayrides. A small service was held at Goble Funeral Home in Sparta for the immediate family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In his memory, donations may be made to Pope John XXIII High School, Sparta, N.J., and/or the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice Center, Newton, N.J.

Rest forever, Drew, and continue to look down on us with your love and strength.
