Audrey M. Boynton

Audrey M. Boynton of Wantage, N.J., passed away on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, at Newton Medical Center. She was 88.

Born in Sussex to the late Edwin and Hazel (Courtright) Marsh, Mrs. Boynton has lived in the Wantage area all of her life. She had been employed in the customer relations department at Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative for 28 years until her retirement in 1994. She was a former member of the Sussex United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 213 Ladies Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter M. Boynton on May 14, 1986.

She is survived by her son, Bradley Boynton of Greentown, Pa.; daughters, Susan Smith of Stillwater and Carol Case and her husband Doug of Wantage; brother, Edwin Marsh Jr. and his wife Florence of Cambridge, Minnesota; grandchildren, Brandon Smith and his fiancé Emily Wood of Stillwater, Allison Herman, her husband Bill and their son Wyatt of Ledgewood; and Spencer Case of Hopewell.

Funeral services were held Jan. 8 at the Pinkel Funeral Home, Sussex. Interment immediately followed at Clove Cemetery. Friends paid their respects prior to the service.
