Burton H. Peer died Thursday, May 13, 2021, at his home in the Stockholm section of Hardyston Township, N.J., with his family at his side. He was 94.
Son of the late Burton H. and Pearl Peer, was born in Kenvil, N.J., on Sept. 15, 1926.
He had been a lifelong resident of Hardyston. He retired from Baldwin Enterprises after many dedicated years as a truck driver.
Mr. Peer is predeceased by his loving wife, Viola Peer; loving daughter Peggy Sue Babcock; and loving granddaughter Casey Van Horn.
He is survived by his children Kathleen Peer of Wantage, N.J., Barbara Van Horn of Hardyston, Nancy Storms of Hardyston, Patricia Peer of Hardyston, and Michael Peer of Hardyston; grandson/son Kenneth Van Horn of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Burton H. Peer was a strong, loving, dedicated family man who will be miss beyond measure.
Visitation was held May 11 at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, Franklin, N.J. Services were held May 12 at the funeral home, followed by interment at North Hardyston Cemetery.
