Daniel Thomas Grennan of Hamburg, N.J., passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, 2020. He was 73.

Daniel was born on March 29, 1947, in Cresskill, N.J., to Mike (Gaylord) and Alice (nee Kuehne) Grennan.

Daniel’s booming laughter, wicked sense of humor, and generosity brought joy to all who knew him. His adored family was his primary source of satisfaction and pride. He started and owned Crosstate Title Agency in Pompton Plains, N.J.

Daniel was known for his intellectual curiosity, as well as his devotion to the New York Yankees and New York Giants. More often than not Daniel could be found listening to music at full volume.

Daniel was predeceased by his father, Mike Grennan; mother, Alice Grennan; and sister, Kathy Mackey.

Daniel is survived by his companion Donna LeBlanc and his four daughters, Roberta Giusto and her husband, Anthony, Hillary Grennan and her husband, Mark Gillan, Colleen Grennan and her husband, David Berezin, and Leanna Grennan; and his six grandchildren, Connor, Emmy Laine, Aaden, Alexander, Isaiah, Bernie, and his siblings, Rita Mintz, Michael Grennan, and Maureen Subler; and his nieces and nephews; and his former wife Kathleen Grennan.

Relatives and friends were received on Dec. 13 with services following at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, Vernon, N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 N. Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852; or to americankidneyfoundation.org.
