Janet E. Thomson of Hamburg, N.J., passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at her residence. She was 72.
Born in Newton, N.J., to the late Rev. Lawrence R. and Marguerite Boaz, Janet has lived in Sussex County all of her life. She had been the owner and operator of Wantage Liquors for many years before her retirement.
Janet is survived by her son, David Licat, and his wife, Lena of Millington; daughter, Dawn Licata Johnson and her former husband, Caine, of Wantage, N.J.; brother, Paul Boaz of Ohio; sister, Carolyn Boaz of Ohio; grandchildren, Caine, Maria, Cole and Charli; and many close friends that she enjoyed spending time with over the years.
Private cremation services were held at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
