John (“Jack”) Black McCallum V of Montague, N.J., died Wednesday, March 24, 2021, in Montague. He was 21.

Son of John B. McCallum IV and Eilleen McCallum, he was born Dec. 27, 1999, in New Brunswick, N.J.

Jack was a student at High Point Regional High School in Wantage Township and graduated from the Port Jervis High School, where he excelled as a baseball player.

A family statement read, “Jack was a loving person who cared about everyone.”

Surviving are his parents, John McCallum IV and Eilleen McCallum; son, Aston Ryan; sister, Taylor McCallum; paternal grandmother, Carol McCallum; and aunt, Lori Bubigkeit and her husband, Roy.

Visitation was held at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home in Port Jervis, N.Y., on March 30. A blessing service followed at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Varga officiating.

Cremation was at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, Pa.
