Richard R. Runnalls of Vernon, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at his residence. He was 58.
Born in Sussex, N.J., to the late Ronald and Betty Jean (Drake) Runnalls, Richie has lived in Sussex County all of his life.
He was a self-employed mason, but everyone who knew him knew he was a jack of all trades. Richie enjoyed building and spent many days in his garage. He like camping and riding his motorcycle and snowmobile. Richie had a passion for NASCAR and spent many years track side at the Pocono 500 with his two daughters.
Richie is survived by his three daughters, Thera Runnalls of Newton, N.J., Trista Runnalls of Vernon, and Eva Sliker of Newton; sister, Debra Runnalls of Glenwood, N.J.; niece, Morgan Dunne of Glenwood; grandchildren, Meyah and Tallie.
Friends may pay their respects to the family on Saturday, Jan. 16, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank St. (Route 23), Sussex. Memorial services will immediately follow at 4 p.m. Private cremation services have been held at the convenience of the family.
