Rose (Bragalia) LaFlamme, originally from Newark, N.J., most recently of Sparta, N.J., passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 11, 2021. She was 96, just two weeks shy of her 97th birthday on March 25.

She was a talented seamstress most of her life, working in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. She enjoyed crocheting and donated scarves, blankets and hats to nursing homes. She also won many ribbons at the state fairs. She loved spending time with her family and going to the casino.

She is predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Giannone; her second husband, Robert Stemmann; son, Anthony Giannone; grandson, Joseph Giannone; brothers, Anthony and Joseph; and her sisters, Madeline and Caroline.

Rose is survived by her husband, Alfred LaFlamme; daughters, Frances Beatty of Andover, N.J., and Camille Giannone and her husband, Earl Gardner, of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., who lovingly cared for her; and her son-in-law, William Talmage. She is also survived by four granddaughters, 12 great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, Franklin, N.J., on March 14. A Funeral Mass was held March 15 at Immaculate Conception Church in Franklin. Interment followed at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
