Rose Chibnik, 100, passed away peacefully, on December 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Bristol Glen Heath Care, Newton, New Jersey. She was born in Queens, New York and lived in Massena, New York and Naples, Florida before moving to Bristol Glen over 2 years ago. Rose received her BA in English from the University of Michigan and received her Masters from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. She was a member of the Investment Club, The College Club, and was an avid reader. Rose loved plants and Hummingbirds and loved swimming at her condo in Naples, Florida. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 72 years, Dr. Joseph Chibnik and her daughter Mara Chibnik. Rose is survived by her devoted children: Paul Chibnik and his partner Sylvia Moore, Lisa Kowalsky and her husband Dr. Stephen Kowalsky and son-in-law Martin Smith and her grandchildren Sharon Fox and her husband James, Neal Kowasky and his fiancé Katerina Klein and Erin Englund and her husband Steven. Private services were held under the direction of the Goble Funeral Home, Sparta, NJ 07871.
