Thomas Lee Snyder Sr. of Montague, N.J., passed away peacefully at Kindred Hospital in Dover, N.J., on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020. He was 61.

Born to Kenneth E. and Patricia Snyder in Point Pleasant, N.J., he lived in Pompton Plains, N.J., before moving to the High Point Country Club section of Montague in 1995.

Thomas worked as a hardscaper for Hautau Landscapers in Branchville, N.J., for over 15 years. Thomas took great joy in freshwater fishing and enjoyed time with family.

Thomas is predeceased by a brother, Kenneth E. Snyder Jr.

He is the beloved husband for 12 years and dedicated companion for 32 years of Margaret Snyder (nee Wulff) of Montague; devoted father of Patricia Snyder and her husband, Tim, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Thomas L. Snyder Jr. and his wife, Julie, of Montague; loving grandfather of Thomas “TJ” Snyder; stepfather of Keith Halstead of New York and James Halstead and his wife, Krystal, of Newton, N.J.; stepgrandfather of Amilliana and Athena; and dear brother of Phyllis Carruthers and her husband, Richard, of Midland Park, N.J.

Private cremation services are under the direction of F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, Franklin, N.J.
