Orgovan celebrates 98th birthday

Yolanda (Julie) Bendes Orgovan, formerly of Franklin, is a resident at Bristol Glen in Newton.
She recently celebrated her 98th birthday with family members ranging in age five to 90.
Her two sisters, Laura Pierce, of Franklin, and Betty Brown, also a resident at Bristol Glen, were in attendance.
Orgovan had worked at Picatinny Arsenal for many years before her retirement. She was born in Krome, NJ in 1916 to Stephen and Helen Bendes who originally came from Hungary.
She is the widow of Paul Orgovan who also came from Hungary.
