On Oct. 4, Our Lady of the Lake held a Blessing of the Animals to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Father Kamil blessed more than 60 dogs, cats, hamsters and rabbits. Treats were handed out. Sparta Pet and Spa and WaggMore Pet Boutique provided homemade dog biscuits.
