Byram gets new alert system

Byram has started using a new, free communication system: Nixle Community Alert, which enables residents to register to receive email updates on anything from missing persons to gas leaks. Residents are encouraged to sign up.
Sign up options:
Go to https://local.nixle.com/signup/widget/i/15882 to enter contact information.
Text the key word "Byram" to 888777 and when prompted enter email address.
Visit https//local.nixle.com/accounts/login/ and click on the settings tab to select "alerts, advisories, community" under Byram Township.
