'Mayor's Hike' set for Aug. 3

On Saturday, August 3, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Byram Township Mayor Alex Rubenstein will host a “Mayor’s Hike.”
The group will depart from the Tamarack Park Parking lot at 9:15 a.m. and will walk the Tamarack Park Trail for 1.6 miles to C. O. Johnson Park, and then return on the same trail.
Along the way, there are several geocaches which to attempt to find. There will also be exploration of the spur trail that leads to Johnson Lake. Join the Mayor for a leisurely walk through the woods. All age groups are invited. It is suggested that participants bring along water, as well as bug repellent.
