Today, Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) announced her offices will begin serving residents remotely and physical locations will be temporarily closed to visitors in order to protect the public health and prevent the potential spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The office has instituted procedures to ensure constituent services are not interrupted during this extraordinary period. Calls to both the Washington and Parsippany offices will continue to be answered and messages will be returned by Representative Sherrill’s team, and constituent correspondence responded to in the same timely manner. To ensure prompt reply, the office recommends constituents use email or phone in place of physical mail when possible.

The New Jersey casework team will continue to help residents of New Jersey’s 11th District with existing and new casework issues involving the federal government — including navigating recent travel restrictions announced by the administration. These policies will be re-evaluated on a weekly basis.

Previously scheduled mobile casework office hours in Hopatcong and Wayne are also postponed until further notice.

Representative Sherrill will continue to do the work she was elected to do — hear from constituents, help with casework, and work with her colleagues in Congress to pass meaningful legislation that benefits residents of New Jersey’s 11th District.

Call the Washington Office at 202-225-5034 or the Parsippany Office at 973-526-5668, or email us via the website at sherrill.house.gov/contact with any questions.
