Police group holds annual Oktoberfest

SPARTA — Sparta’s Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #26, will host its 8th annual Oktoberfest at Mohawk House on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 2 pm.
Enjoy seasonal beers, German fare and musical entertainment by Party King. Tickets are $45 a person and can be purchased at the door on the day of the event or in advance at Mohawk House or at Sparta Township Police Station.
Always festive, celebrating the fall season and the Sparta community’s support of the FOP, this year’s event benefits many people and causes in need.
Sparta Police Officer Kurt Morris, one of the event organizers, explains:
“Throughout the year Sparta F.O.P. supports a myriad of charitable organizations and youth organizations along with officers and their families from around the State of New Jersey and beyond who need financial assistance due to catastrophic injury or illness,” said Sparta Police Officer Kurt Morris, one of the event organizers.
All are welcome at the rain or shine event.
