SCCC to host senior workshops

    It’s never too late to learn something new, and The Center for Lifelong Learning at Sussex County Community College (SCCC) is working with Senior Services of Sussex County to host an array of classes this fall.

    Explore everything from history to cultural connections to understanding computers. Most courses and workshops are offered free of charge. Courses with a fee are noted.

    To register, contact the Sussex County Division of Senior Services at 973-579-0555 Ext. 1277.

    All lessons are in the Performing Arts Center, Room A227. The fee is $100 for five 30-minute lessons. Alfred’s Basic Adult Piano Course: Lesson Book Level 1 is included in the course fee, to be paid to instructor.

    Join us for a buffet lunch in the Performing Arts Center followed by a musical performance in the Theater by Dr. Debbie Giannuzzi, SCCC Music Professor.

    Meet the Senior Services Division and Senior Life Center staff and learn about the many programs and services that are available to Sussex County seniors. Friday, Dec. 6, noon to 2 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center, SCCC.

    A buffet lunch will be served, open seating by reservation. No walk-ins, please! Seating is limited and reservations are a must for lunch.
