    On 2-1-20, a Byram Twp. Police Officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Rt. 206. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, later identified as Lauen M. Ell initially refused to identify herself after asked being asked to do so several times. While speaking to Ell, the officer felt she was intoxicated and had her perform several field sobriety tests, which she failed. Ell was arrested and during this time, she began to physically resist the officers. Ell was transported to the station for processing where she was charged with the following and released pending a mandatory Andover-Joint Municipal Court date: Obstruction, Resisting Arrest (3rd Degree), Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to Breath Tests, Driving While Suspended and Failure to Produce a Driver's License.

    On 1-26-20, the Byram Twp. Police Department received a call about a male screaming at a female in the ShopRite parking lot. When the officer arrived, he spoke to Leon H. Cheatham of Bushkill, PA. While speaking to Cheatham, the officer observed a bag of suspected marijuana sticking out of the front pocket of Cheatham's sweatshirt. Cheatham was arrested and a second bag of marijuana was subsequently found in his vehicle. Cheatham was transported to the station for processing and it was learned that there was a $500.00 criminal warrant out for his arrest out of Blairstown. Cheatham was charged with Possession of Under 50g of Marijuana and was released on his own recognizance pending multiple court dates.

    On 1-24-20, a Byram Twp. Police Officer observed a vehicle traveling on Waterloo Rd. at a high rate of speed. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and while speaking to the driver, Kristopher M. Fanelli, the officer felt Fanelli may be intoxicated. Fanelli was asked to perform several field sobriety tests, which he failed. Fanelli was arrested and during a subsequent search of his vehicle, a vape pen containing a THC based liquid was discovered. Fanelli was transported to the station where he consented to and failed two breath tests. He was charged with the following and released to a family member pending a mandatory Andover-Joint Municipal Court date: Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of Under 5g of Hash, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Motor Vehicle and Careless Driving.
