In effort to prevent tragedy from opioid overdose, the Center for Prevention for Counseling is offering training on prevention and strategies on how to recognize the symptoms of overdose. They will also teach how to administer Narcan. Participating families of someone at risk of overdose will receive a free Narcan kit. The event takes place at 65 Newton Sparta Rd, in Newton.
