Over 40s, 50s, and now Over 60s soccer

You may well be aware of Sparta Over Forties Football Club (Adult soccer). This year marks its 25th season. There are two teams (for players in their 40s and 50s, but they will soon also launch a team for players who are in their 60s.

The teams play in the http://uslnj.com league - Over 40s (O40s) in Division 3 and Over 50s (O50s) in masters II. The teams are currently in first and second place.

To celebrate the anniversary of its 25th season (and since there's not a competitive game this weekend due to Colombus Day weekend), they are playing an internal, friendly game of O40s vs O50s on Sunday, Oct. 13 on field 4 at Station Park.

The two founders of the club will be in attendance, Michael Dalichow and Paul Clements. Festivities will take place after the game.
