Remembering Tommy

| 03 Nov 2019 | 02:08

At this week's football game, the senior football players of the class of 2020 made a presentation to the Sussex County Sheriff, Michael Strada. As you all know, we lost a very special young man from our Mustang Community three years ago. Tommy Bock, a Vernon High School Lacross player, Wallkill Valley Wrestler and our own Mustang Football player tragically was taken from us. His teammates and classmates have not, and will not forget him. During the Sussex Tech v Wallkill Valley football game (which has become an annual fundraiser for the Tommy Bock memorial scholarship fund), team Moms collected more then 40 new youth safety helmets donated in Tommy's name at this game. Today, our senior players are donated these helmets in Tommy's name to the Sussex County Sheriff's Office for distribution in our county's local schools. Mustang Nation extends our thanks and appreciation to Sheriff Strada for his office's continued commitment to the education and safety of the children here in Sussex County.
