Our mass media often uses "sound bites" to foster their not so subtle "hidden agendas," Items taken out of context as from the POTUS tweet below are dishonest journalism. How many people have read or heard the entire tweet?
On July 14th, President Trump tweeted (word for word): "So interesting to see "Progressive" Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments area complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all) now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don't they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can't leave fast enough. I'm sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements."
The POTUS was referring to "The Squad" of four freshman Congresspersons.
Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley - From Boston via Chicago. On July 13th: "This is the time to shake the table (Congress) . . . we don't need anymore brown faces that don't want to be a brown voice. We don't need anymore black faces that don't want to be a black voice. We don't need anymore Muslims that don't want to be a Muslim voice. We don't want queers that don't want to be a queer voice." Meaning: You must think and act like the Squad.
Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib - first generation Palestinian-American. Overtly anti-Isreal and anti-Semitic. Democrat/Socialist. Predecessor usually elected by 77% of vote. Tlaib got 31%. Among here first words in public upon being sworn in: "We are going to impeach the mother f. . . er.!"
New York Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - Democrat/Socialist. American - second generation from Puerto Rico. Only successful candidate of 30 recruited and supported by 'Brand New Congress" PAC. Pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel. Pushing "The Green New Deal."
Minnesota Rep Ilhan Omar - Progressive Democrat. Refugee family granted asylum in US from Somalia in 1992. About 9/11 she says: "Some people did something." Soft on Al Queda/anti-Semitic. "Our country should be more fearful of white men."
