The Rodfather Gang Car Club would like to sincerely thank the merchant sponsors and team members who have made the Saturday cruises at the Sussex County Mall in Newton such a success.
We have to express our gratitude to the Martin family for allowing us to hold our cruises in this fantastic venue. Without their co-operation, this would not have been possible.
We got together on 16 Saturdays this year and awarded more than 375 gift cards from participating merchants.
Our cruises offer much enjoyment to attendees, namely socialization, a variety of food from surrounding food establishments and great music provided by our DJ, Captain Kirk. Beside the music, we had a few contests, such as name that tune and trivia questions. The people with the correct answers were awarded a gift card from a host merchant.
This year we had the misfortune of having seven rainouts. We look forward to next year’s cruises as more auto enthusiasts join us from nearby New York state and Pennsylvania and perhaps some will choose to join our team.
