Nancy Haas of Hampton, N.J., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, at Overlook Medical Center in Summi, N.J. She was 65.

Born in Franklin, N.J., to the late Shirley (Romyns) and Rudolph Haas, Nancy lived most of her life in Hamburg, N.J., before settling in the Little Swartswood Lake section of Hampton 20 years ago.

Nancy worked as a server for many years at the county seat in Newton and most recently at Sheridan’s Restaurant. She had a passion for gardening and was an amazing cook. She enjoyed spending time with her two cats, Tate and Jack; her many great friends; and her time out on the lake.

She was predeceased by her parents. Nancy is survived by her son, Ed Stoll, of Hampton; sister, Debby and husband, Bob Henry, of Owego, N.Y.; brothers, Rudy and wife, Karen Haas, and Tom and wife, Minny Haas, all of Vernon, N.J.; stepfather, Tom Renouf of Hamburg; niece, Jennifer and husband, Mark Babcock, of Owego, N.Y.; as well as other loving nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, arrangements are private and under the direction of the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, Franklin. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Father John’s Animal House (fatherjohns.org).
