TRENTON — A second straight poll by Fairleigh Dickinson University finds New Jersey residents believe the state is heading in the right direction. Fifty percent of those responding to the latest PublicMind Poll agree things in New Jersey are "moving in the right direction." Forty-one percent say the state is on the wrong track. Fairleigh Dickinson says it's the first time in 11 years of polling that New Jerseyans have agreed in back-to-back surveys that the state is heading in the right direction. The last survey was in March. Fifty-six percent of respondents approve of the way Gov. Chris Christie is handling his job _ a new high. The telephone poll of 797 voters April 30 through May 6 had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
