Andover man faces, drug, motor vehicle, financial charges

An Andover man is facing drug and motor vehicle charges after a Byram Township police officer observed a vehicle failing o keep right on Route 206.

Dominick J. Fernandez, 24, was charged with credit card theft, possession of a prescription legend drug fewer than 4 doses, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container of an acoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, driving while suspended, fictitious registration plates, failure to keep right, failure to inspect, expired driver’s license, failure to possess a registration card, no liability insurance, failure to change address.

According to poolice, after a motor vehicle stop, it was determiined Fernandez was driving with a suspended licnese and furutuer investigaion, including a serach of Fernandez’s vehicle produced a quantity of Promethazine, durg paraphernalia and 13 credit cards belonging to five different people.

After being charged, he was released followin a mandatory Sussex County Superior Court date.
