Wantage. Thomas and Diane Friedberg of Wantage, N.J., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Friedberg, to Alexander Baran, son of Mark and Tracey Baran of Ringwood, N.J.
The bride-to-be is a 2013 graduate of High Point Regional High School and received her Master of Public Health degree from East Stroudsburg University in 2018. She is currently a research assistant on a Novavax Covid-19 Vaccine Trial located in Fort Bragg, N.C.
The groom-to-be is a 2015 graduate of Lakeland Regional High School and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology and Criminal Justice from Rutgers University in 2019. He is currently serving in the U.S. Army. Baran is in the 82nd Airborne Division.
The couple resides in Spring Lake, North Carolina, and plans to wed in northern New Jersey in the fall of 2022.
