Jennifer Susan Cicardo of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., died Monday, June 28, 2021, at Newton Medical Center. She was 60.
Daughter of the late Thomas Doyle IV, she was born in Summit, N.J. Jennifer grew up in Chatham, N.J., then lived in Dover, N.J., before moving to Lake Hopatcong 11 years ago. She was a paralegal at the Bank of America in Florham Park, N.J., before her retirement and a volunteer for Eleventh Hour Rescue.
Jennifer’s first love, at 14, was Jesus. She lived a life of service to Him, sang in the choir and worship teams. She attended Lafayette Federated Church and took her last breath surrounded by those she loved, while worshiping our Savior. Jennifer enjoyed gardening, crafting, animals, antiques and vacationing yearly at Camp of the Woods since 1993.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Steven Cicardo; daughter, Athena Laskaras; son, Nicholas Laskaras; mother, Jane (Kipsey) Doyle; sister, Sharon Longo; grandson, Elijah Laskaras; and all her beloved pets that were like children to her.
Visitation was held July 2 at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, Newton, N.J. Funeral services were held July 3 at the Lafayette Federated Church, Lafayette, N.J.
