William Robert (Bob) Kulley passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
Bob was born in Newark, N.J,, to Benjamin and Josephine Kulley and was the second of ten children.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia; daughter, Diane and her husband, Mark; sons, Brian and his wife, Susan, and Steven and his wife, Catherine. He was also blessed with six grandchildren, Scott, Sarah Allison, Matthew, Sean, Lauren, and Amelia. His sisters, Barbara and Marion, and, brother, Andrew survive him.
He was a proud U.S. Marine. Following his service, he graduated from the College of New Jersey and earned a masters degree from the University of Connecticut. He taught for six years before becoming the vice principal of Sparta High School, Sparta, N.J., for 31 years. Working with young people was his passion.
He was a member of the Marine Corp League, the Rotary Club of Sparta, and later the St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary Club. Funeral services will be held at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 10. A private inurnment will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
