Hardyston — Crystal Springs Resort Executive Chef Michael Weisshaupt prepared and delivered lunch to Bracco Farms, the resort’s primary supplier of naturally grown produce, in nearby Pine Island, N.Y., recently. The farm's owners Tony, Christa and their son Anthony, lost over 6.5 acres of crops in the wake of Hurricane Irene. With the support of family, friends and local buyers, the family is tearing down and rebuilding their greenhouse, which once housed a unique variety of micro greens used to prepare Chef Michael’s signature dishes.
