Festival planned for Ham radio enthusiasts

AUGUSTA-The Sussex County Amateur Radio Club will be holding their 26th Annual Hamfest on Sunday, July 10, at the Sussex County Fairgrounds on Plains Rd., Augusta. The doors will open for buyers at 8 a.m., while sellers gates will open at 6 a.m. The Hamfest is an opportunity for those interested in Ham radio, electronics and computers to meet, exchanging ideas and equipment. Representatives of major suppliers of amateur radio equipment will be on hand. Space for hundreds of tailgaters is available.
