In time for the holiday season, a newly published horror book, titled "Thirsty," has been written by C. Allison Devesly, a resident of Green Township.

"Thirsty" is the story about the unleashing of an ancient evil. Susan Andres finds a charming location for her dental practice. But embedded in the tools of the former occupants, she discovers a portal to evil. Andres is soon compelled to lure people to the practice, where they are tortured and murdered. Horrified, she seeks help from locals who can stop the demonic force, this time, hopefully permanently.

C.Allison Devesly is a writer, mother, runner, dog owner and a former teacher. After 13 years, she left middle school teaching and began a new adventure as the mother of identical twin daughters. To destress from the bedlam of family life, she ran daily, while she imagined fantastical horror stories, largely based on her childhood fears. With free time to write, she fulfilled her childhood dream of publishing a book.

"Thirsty" can be purchased on Amazon or BarnesandNoble.com.
